GLAMOUR OF THE KILL

Founded as The Red Room Theory, they changed their name to "Glamour of the Kill" after a suggestion made by a friend of the band. The band's mainstream popularity was assisted by a 10/10 Metal Hammer review for their debut album Through the Darkness They March. This led to tours with Bullet for My Valentine, Darkest Hour and Avenged Sevenfold.

After the first EP release Invitations under their old name, the band finally changed their name to Glamour of The Kill and followed up by releasing Through the Darkness They March and was given high ratings by local critics.

In 2008, the band made a deal with independent label Siege of Amida Records to a contract and released another EP, this time self titled Glamour of the Kill which contained a re-recorded version of the previous EP's popular track 'Rise From Your Grave'. This EP was also given high ratings from critics throughout the UK. They were also a part of the Main Stage at the years Download Festival.

[edit] 2009 - Present

The band are currently in the recording studio, working on their first LP CD release, and their first under Siege Of Amida Records. They are also currently doing a headline tour for Dragonforce and have announced a tour named In For The Kill, which they will start in March 2010. In Summer 2009, GOTK played at the UK leg of Sonisphere, a European festival Headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park

On November 6, the band announced that the name for their debut full length album was to be The Summoning. They are still working on material, and are aiming for a Spring 2010 release. They are doing a full headlining UK tour In march for two months with Yashin.
